Is Hanso going on the offensive? What's going on?
Something else happened. As some of you remember, there was this guy named WTK who apparently helped Rachel at some point. This morning someone got a wierd message from WTKFleet35 on AIM. When that someone replied to it, this autoresponse was given:
"I'm on my way out the door. Tell Rachel's friends that soon they will know why I did what I did. I have to go. Gonna take care of of some unfinished business."
What do you think that means?

Okay... So the candy bars are starting to be distributed today. Check Apollocandy.com for more details. GET SOME CANDY BARS!
Why do I say that? Well, apparently, something is going to be on (or in?) these chocolate bars that is going to be of interest to us. Some enterprising folks have figured out that this site, WhereisAlvar.com, is being set up for something. When the Apollo Candy site first came up, some people theorized that the url was on the bars themselves. And new developments appear to have confirmed this analysis.
I guess we'll know for sure soon since the candy bars should be in people's hands sometime this afternoon.

So Today, Tuesday the 8th, in the middle of glyph hunting ApolloCandy.com went live. At first it redirected to the Hanso Foundation website. Then at some point the site really went live and gave us the story of the mysterious candy bars some of the losties on the Island have enjoyed since discovering the stash in the hatch.
People have been pouring over everything on the site to see what it's all about. Any new developments will be posted here but check out the discussion in the forums for the latest theories, etc.
Now here's where things get really really interesting. Apparently, when you go to Sublymonal.com and type in "Nanite" (the code that was found in a Sprite ad in last weeks People magazine) a couple of things happen. First, the Nanite Glyph starts to flash on the rotating screens along with the other odd pics. Secondly, the wierd robot lady voice talks about FLICKR. The photo sharing web community. FLICKR? Why would it do that? (Thanks to xmozzazx for bring this to my attention.)
xmozzazx did some digging in FLICKR and came up with this. WOW. There's the Nanite Glyph. And look at the user name. Could this be a hoax? Why would sublymonal point us to FLICKR? It has to be legit, no? So many questions.
wadampar took the pieces of the letter and put them together. Here's what it says:

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Entertainment Weekly senior writer and LOST theorist Jeff "Doc" Jensen for a chat filled with wisdom, intrigue, a few bits of clarification from the inside, and much much more. The results will be published shortly!

Rachel Blake is still hard at work, trying to take down The Hanso Foundation...
She's got a new blog up on her Stop Hanso page over at http://stophanso.rachelblake.com where she lets us know she's right on Dr. Mittelwerk's tail.
She also mentions that she's got a new video of her surveillance efforts, but that we have to find it and the only lead she gives us is a link to http://www.retrieversoftruth.com.
So after heading to the Retrievers Of Truth website and accessing the *secret blog, we decided to check out the links in there. More specifically, the link:

Nothing out of the ordinary to the naked eye, but if you were to check out all the "stories" on the page by clicking on them, one doesn't coincide with its cover picture (the Motorcyle one):
If you click on it, you'll realize quickly it has nothing to do with broadband and that it's actually Rachel Blake's second video entry.

Well, we all know that the Hanso Foundation site has been "shutdown" because of all of Persephone's hacking...
However, Persephone must have found a way around their security measures because she's still sending us messages through their site. If you head to http://www.thehansofoundation.org after it's been "shutdown" and you patiently wait without moving your mouse for exactly 100 seconds, you should see something like this...
It goes by quick, so if you missed it, it read:

Because of the way it's written, we decided to put it at the end of The Hanso Foundation's link to make:

Ok, so SINCE The Hanso Foundation website has been "shut-down", it hasn't stopped our friend Persephone from leaving us clues...
So if you head to Persephone's page at http://persephone.thehansofoundation.org, you'll see a picture kinds like this (Except upside down):
Who is this person? (Why are they upside down?) Well, we're not quite sure yet, but we DID know that there was a clue in there someplace and before long we found these numbers by reversing the audio played on P's page:

When put through an ASCII translator, these numbers produce the following message:

Where's this leading us? Good question...
After snooping around a bit in The Hanso Foundation's source code we find a link to a website:

If you head over there, everything seems normal except a little box at the bottom that prompts the user for text:
All you have to do is take our already existing clue of evident agend and slap an extra "a" on the end to get:

This is the password to log into Rachel Blake's secret blog where there's an interesting video of her telling us a bit about her master plan for trying to stop The Hanso Foundation.

Kinda confusing at first, but with a little work from all of The Lost Experience's computer savvy detectives (And after fooling around with Photoshops colour palettes) we get the following result:

Let's start things off with the Mental Health Appeal page being updated:
We've all been wondering about the "Inquire Today" box on the Mental Health Appeal page, and what it's for...
Finally Persephone has offered some closure on that with her "hole" clues. Her page was updated last week with the following numbers:

In ASCII code, this translates to "+1 timeless together". Another "+1" led us to hole4.thehansofoundation.org:
Merging hole 4 with any of the other holes got us no where fast. After further reading into the "timeless together" part of her clue however, we decided to merge the filenames together and see what we could come up with:

6-8-06- DJ Dan mentions the IGA in his recent podcast, found here. http://podcast.monster.com/articles/conspiraspy/, he mentions that the IGA is also tested on animals, including the infamous Shark with the Dharma Logo. I raise the question if any other animals could be involved. and then there was this...
At the Hanso Site, you'll notice under the RSS feed, that The Institute for Genomic Advancement, has been updated. After you make your way to this, follow these instructions, for the connection between The Hanso Foundation and Retrievers of Truth- could this be a hack from Persephone or was this implemented by THF themselves?
Hover your mouse over this cell found at the top right corner of the screen. Once you do that, you'll notice in the X-ray results the word Retrievers
Continue to do the following like so, to learn how Retrievers of Truth is connected to The Hanso Foundation. More importantly, was this clue made to lead us towards Vincent? Or is this simply just another advertising ploy by our newest Ingame Company- Verizon. I guess only time will tell.

Another day, another sad, overt commercialization of the LOST game. On http://www.retrieversoftruth.com if you enter "porter" in the email field you will be taken to a secret forum, allegedly sat up by DSLerator who is the alleged webmaster of the ROT site.
In between talking about Hanso's efforts to use FIOS technology for evil, and the mindless ramblings of characters with other Verizon products for names (Iobi), we learn that there is a conspiracy at Hanso. Uh, yeah... we knew that.
There are three sites mentioned: www.richerdeeperbroader.com, http://emri.perception.net, and http://www.andyfoulds.co.uk/amusement/economists.htm. I believe these are all three "out of game". The first is definitely there for commerical purposes.
The message says to check back often. Who knows, maybe something meaningful will show up... maybe it will turn into a gian Verizon ad. Who knows.

Yes there is a new website into the frey: www.retrieversoftruth.com! It appears to be a serious study on psychic animals, including a rather familiar looking yellow lab. Interesting that the doctor who runs ROT is named "Vincent".
Quick fingered foiler fiends were quick to grab up the misspelled www.retreiversoftruth.com and promptly fill it with bogus information.

I was checking into a hotel and a dapper porter escorts me to my room.
As we're going up the elevator in total silence I decide to ask him his name. He replies, "Mandrake Wig" and immediately starts to explain the odd name, his German ancestry, and his mother's preoccupation with botany. He ends the story by saying, "my friends just call me Manny."
We continue talking about our lives, hopes, and dreams as I'm getting settled in my room. When he's done I offer a generous tip but he refuses saying, "Let me give you a tip, a single word that will enrich your life, as it has mine." I accept.
The next day I go to the front desk to leave a tip for Manny. They tell me no such person works there. I question everyone with no luck. I think about what he told me and write down his name so I don't forget it. As I write I see something in the letters. I rearrange a few and create the words, "waking dream."

This now shows a broken image link, but when this was first found an image was there and you can view that below... UPDATE: The image is now up and online at http://hole3.thehansofoundation.org
If you look VERY carefully, under the right eye you can just make out grey markings. When you play about with the colours, you can come up with:
Zoom in, and you can see the words 'Save Me'.
