The Lost Experience the Extended Edition?

With Season Three barely started, ABCMarketing is already thinking ahead for next summer. Not only will there be a sequel (duh) to finish telling the story (hopefully they keep 'Rachel' away from the ludes this time around) but there are also plans to include a faux documentary of what happened with this LOST experience on the LOST Season Three DVD box set.

Now your saying what I said, that'll be like September... so it won't help to indoctrinate new gamers for the summer, right?

Well, there is a slim possibility that the Documentary will first premiere on the LOST Season One HD-DVD set which is expected to be announced any day. Apparently everything was shot on HD cameras, so the set will include an upgraded print of Rachel's shinaneghans. (Hey VHS would be better than the cruddy flash video they used for the "final" scene.)

Is adding an extended recap of the Lost Experience in HD going to value or devalue such a set? You tell me.

I definitely am glad they're doing this. There should be a record of such an amazing experience. So that it doesn't get lost in the sands of time. pun intended.

I really don't like this idea. I think that there are so many recaps of what happened that we don't need one for TLE on one of the DVDs. If I was in charge of The Lost Experience, I would put one of the clues on the Season 1 HD-DVD Set. That way, everyone buys the product to find out the first clue... or they could just visit thelostexperience.com

Is there any possibility that the Lost Experience will return for the 12-week hiatus between season 3 pts. 1 and 2? 12 weeks is the appx. length of this summer's "Experience"...

yeah, i kinda agree that the experience on DVD would suck. It would be hard to translate and a waste of time and space. Living it was fine, but trying to re-capture it in a strange 3rd person sort of way would be odd. Put some real "extras" on the DVD... I was disappointed w/ the season 2 box set.

i agree w/ davis on this one. He said everything that I was thinking (how dare you steal my thoughts!!) I would say that I'm 95% sure that they are doing SOMETHING LOST experience related during the 12 week hiatus.
We got 2 more weeks of LOST :(
But then 12 weeks of the LOST experience :)

I only discovered TLE a couple weeks ago...
Here in Brazil, LOST slightly began the 2º season (at the 'open' TV.. cause 'cable' its almost over 2º season... great, ha?!)
So, I think this a great idea.
Fill some uninformed fans about the truth behind the event on the show through these DVDs.
My only doubt is the continuation of the game.
Is it ended for complete or will be another part of the history? Mittelwerk obviously wants "a war"...
