The LOST Experience takes LOST fans on an expansive, international easter egg hunt through websites, commercials, emails, phone numbers, and more, in search of pieces to a larger puzzle, a puzzle which, when solved, will enlighten LOST fans to some of the shows deepest mysteries!

Rachel and The Fixer speaking?

We're still trying to figure out what exactly is going on but it seems that Rachel and The Fixer (aka Malik) are having a conversation by sending these wierd codes to Speaker and The Lost Ninja.

It started Saturday on Speaker's "Inside the Experience" blog.



After flipping this horizontally, you decode it as hex, and then decode it as ascii then it gives you a message that's written backwards.  The message is  (Thanks to the ITE Yahoo chat team):

"M - conscience is keeping you in the fight is it? heard you call into dj dan. if you're talking about who i think you are, then you already know my answer"

It looks like Rachel is trying to get some help from The Fixer, Malik (aka Ironman).

Today, Malik responded.  He chose Lost Ninja to send his message.



So this one needed to be flipped vertically.  Then you need to type the letters but instead of typing them normally, you actually type the key that's one key to the left.

The solution is (thanks to Dante on TLEC):

"R -- I think it's fair to say, whatever conscience I have was built on faulty equipment. This is a matter of duty. Loyalty... Speaking of which, I've been troubled by the very recent disappearance of an old friend, de Zylva. We all saw your Sri Lanka video. You were captured at the end, and yet, there you were, blasting those Lost producers in San Diego not a week later. And, I have to wonder... did de Zylva have something to do with that(shift?) Do you know what's become of him?"

So there we are.

And the conversation continues...

Today, The Other Girl posted another coded message.  This time Rachel gave us the scoop as to what happened at the end of the Sri Lanka video.

Here's what the message says:


"I knew you were behind that. I just knew. He never told me, you know?


When I hit the ground I was sure I was dead. The camera was broken, they were dragging me to my feet... and then a burst of gunfire in the air. These were SCIENTISTS, unarmed. They hit the ground. But not Mittelwerk. He kept coming until de Zylva turned the shots in his direction. Once Mittelwerk was face down on the ground, de Zylva grabbed my hand and we were gone. With the camera.


He didn't talk. He said he was de Zylva, that was it. We knew Mittelwerk was already in pursuit, but we stuck to tunnels that had been dug out during various wartimes. We had some close calls. The goal was the American embassy in Colombo, but when we got there, we knew that was impossible. It was being watched -- the airport, too. de Zylva said The Hanso Foundation had too much influence in Colombo to take the risk.


And, then, they caught wind of us again. We knew we could be caught at any second, and the only important thing was that video. EVIDENCE of Mittelwerk's world-wide decimation plot. I'd planned for this. All I needed was a secure, high-speed connection. The Hanso goons knew it too. They surrounded the place while I was uploading. We barricaded ourselves, de Zylva knew an escape route. I barely got out, made my way to a friend of de Zylva's who could get me to India. I swear, I waited for de Zylva. But he never came.


I'm so sorry."


New Message Tuesday, September 12th.

Someone noticed a change in the Hanso Foundation website.  If you right click the bottom of the screen, and "select all" you get a coded message:

"Pdeo eo jkp ukqn bwqhp. Wo ukq kjya odkqpaz wp pda pkl kb ukqn hqjco,
sa'ra whh ckp "xhkkz kj kqn dwjzo." E fqop dkla iu bneajz eo naopejc awou.

Sdana wna ukq? E'hh jaaz ukq pk iaap ia ej Jknswu."

It's a ROT4 encoded message which translates to:

"This is not your fault. As you once shouted at the top of your lungs, we've all got "blood on our hands." I just hope my friend is resting easy. Where are you? I'll need you to meet me in Norway."

Seems that Malik has begun to set up a meeting with Rachel.

On September 13th Rachel responded with a morse code message hidden in Hansoexposed.com.

Some folks at TLEC decoded it:

"M--I wish it were that simple. Fact is, as much as I want to, I still can't trust you. I want to believe you are the man who helped me in Paris but "de Zylva's" name was not unknown. You could be Mittlewerk himself, springing a trap under my feet. I need confirmation it's you. I need you tell me something only you could know."

Malik then replied via a post to Rachel's "My European Holiday" website.  It was a binary code which translated to:

"R -- I respect your caution. Suppose it's warranted, after all you've come through. I can't remember it exactly, but I think when we were in the stairwell in Paris, you muted the mic as I said "Because he wanted me to help you, and I can't question a man who would launch the Mental Health Appeal... to save a loved one." Say what you will about him now, his heart was once in the right place."

Rachel responded with a post on her real blog.  It was a code that translated to:

"I'm in NYC."

Malik then came back with a pic posted on whereisalvar.com under the name rachel@whereisalvar.com.  The code on the pic translated to:

"You lived in 3 different apartments. Be waiting outside your second at 7:45 PM. I'm sending a car. Hope you remember the brand of iron you hit me with, because that's the code."


Have they met already?  What are they planning on doing now?

I don't know why I assume this, but I think DeZylva might have been disguised as a scientist? And if Nightcrawler is right, all these people inside tHF are revolting, should we expect more inside people to turn on Mittlewerk:?

Not to spoil the conspiracy theory, but uploading the video doesn't necessarily mean to HE.com...

She could have been saying she uploaded it from her camera to somewhere she could get to it later. THEN broke it up into 70 pieces etc.

I think the message is trying to say how she was able to get the video out of Sri Lanka...

I just wanna know who's fronting the money for Rachel to be flyin all over the place? Didn't she say at some point during act 2 that she was running out of money? Now Malik thinks she's just going to fly off to Norway?

Really Lost translated what he linked, I believe. Ran the binary through a translator, and took the result and ran that through a hex translator. At least, that's what I did. This is getting interesting...

Has anyone else found and decoded the morse code mp2 that has popped up on www.hansoexposed.com?

when you place your cursor over the save/send sequence link and asterik appears. When you click the asterik you receive and mp3 that plays a long message in morse code.

Did anyone catch what is on whereisalvar.com? If you click on the Sri Lanka dot on the map and look at the photos, there is one from Rachel with a bunch of machine code. Haven't decoded it yet, but hadn't seen anyone say anything about it either. Let me know if this is discussed somewhere else.

I was thinking about the message...I wonder if this is really a message from Rachel though, only because it talks about being hit with an iron, which is what I thought she did to the tech guy who worked for Hanso in her hotel room in Italy. Maybe I am wrong, but you never know. Don't know how that helps us, but maybe it will spark something for someone.
